	In accordance with the plan of activities of the project REP-LECOTOX "Reinforcement of research potential of the Laboratory for Ecotoxicology "INCO-CT-2006-043559-REP-LECOTOX, we are pleased to announce that the REP-LECOTOX 1st Workshop on Ecotoxicogenomics will be held from 15 to 18 June, 2008, at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Sciences, Department of Biology and Ecology, Novi Sad, Serbia. The objectives of the Workshop are to bring together experts in the field of genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics and get comprehensive insight about the application of omic technologies in the field of ecotoxicology, to provide information about the state of art in this field, to promote ecotoxicogenomics as propulsive field of research and to introduce application of genomics based tools in aquatic and terrestrial ecotoxicology.
